Keratin Micro-Beads Extensions Explanation

Keratin: Keratin is a naturally occurring protein found in hair, nails, and the outer layer of skin. In the context of hair extensions, keratin is used to form the bond that attaches the extension to your natural hair. The use of keratin ensures that the bond is strong and durable, yet gentle on the hair.

Micro-Beads: These are tiny beads, often made of silicone or aluminum, used to secure hair extensions to the natural hair without the need for glue or heat. The beads are clamped down around a small section of the natural hair with the extension attached, holding it securely in place.

Combination of Both: Keratin micro-beads extensions are a fusion of both methods. The tip of the hair extension is coated with keratin, which is then inserted into the micro-bead. Once the bead is clamped shut, the keratin inside melts a little from the heat of the clamping tool, creating a bond with the natural hair inside the bead. When it cools down, it solidifies, ensuring a secure and long-lasting hold.
